WHAT PROCEDURES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE FOR KEEPING MY CHILD SAFE AND ACCOUNTED FOR?
Safety and security are an integral part of StoneRidge Kids. We use a computer check-in system to ensure each child is checked in and accounted for at all times while participating in StoneRidge Kids.
WHAT IF I NEED TO BE CONTACTED ABOUT MY CHILD DURING THE SERVICE?
If a parent is needed in the children's area, using the number received at check-in time, parents can be notified at any time during the worship service via an on-screen message
WHO IS LOOKING AFTER MY CHILDREN?
Our dedicated team considers it a privilege to work with your children, and each person involved in StoneRidge Kids undergoes a background security check.
DO YOU HAVE A WEEKLY CURRICULUM?
Yes. In StoneRidge Kids, we use a curriculum called GO!
GO! is a chronological, gospel centered, God focused, and faith forming curriculum that gets kids out of their seats and into the storytelling action. With a variety of storytelling methods, every lesson invites kids to become a part of the Biblical storytelling in wonderfully imaginative ways.
WHEN DO STONERIDGE KIDS PROGRAMS RUN?
Programs for StoneRidge kids run simultaneously with our regular weekend service.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT STONERIDGE KIDS?
To allow sufficient time to check your child/children in, and so you can enjoy the entire service, plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the service. Label your child's belongings (bags, bottles, pacifiers) before you arrive. If you forget, we'll have materials on hand to assist you.
For the health of children and volunteers, we ask that sick children not attend StoneRidge Kids.
REGISTRATION AND OPENING NIGHTS
AWANA
Primary to Grade 6 - resumes September 13, 2023 Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

Awana clubs at StoneRidge run Wednesday evenings:
Sparks (Primary – Grade 2), Truth & Training (Grades 3-6), clubs run on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:15pm.

Important Info:
1. The first night of Awana will be September 13, 2023 from 6:30 - 8:15. Books and uniforms will be handed out on September 20, 2023
2. We are always looking for parent volunteers. We are especially looking for leaders to help with the older age group (both girls and boys) each week. You don't need to attend StoneRidge to be a leader. As long as your volunteer paperwork is all in order, you are able to serve. You can send an email to this address if you are interested in helping this year.
3. Cost and Payment options:
There is a flat rate of $45.00 per clubber. This covers the registration fee and book.
For new clubbers or clubbers entering Grade 3, the uniform is an additional $20.00.
Payment Options:
A. Send an e-transfer to offering@srfconnect.com. Use password Awana2023. Include "Awana Registration" in the description along with your clubber's name(s) and club(s).
B. Pay by credit card over the phone by calling the church office at 902-865-3814.
C. Pay in person using debit or credit card at the church office. The office hours are M-Th 10 -4.

Each Awana club session at StoneRidge consists of:
Handbook time - where clubbers work in small groups on scripture memorization, earning awards for completing sections in their handbooks
Game time - high energy games on the Awana games circle
Large group time - where each group comes together to dig deeper into God's Word, worship through songs and receive awards for all of their hard work
